The price of the 2nd amendment.

Most people believe that because bearing a firearm is a constitutional right, people do not need pay to carry them. Open and conceal carry comes with a high price, with most states taking extra measures. The system varies by state some allow permit less open carry and conceal while other require interviews with the police to even get one. Most people are in favor of this allowing guns to be given to capable people, half believe that guns should not require permits per the constitution.

The state of Arizona is one of the few states that allow open and conceal carry without a permit. Allowing anyone 18 years of age to open carry a firearm legally, this is a prime example of a less harsher system. Its counterpart California has stricter gun laws, according to Ben Christoper of Calmatters on the reason for California strict gun laws, Ben states " The Panthers’ efforts to “police the police” already had led Republican Assemblyman Don Mulford to propose legislation to ban the “open carry” of loaded firearms within California cities and towns." (Ben, para 3). Right now, it is hard to obtain a gun permit within California as opposed to Arizona. This shows how hard it is to express out constitutional right, a right that the founding fathers wanted.

There are people that like stricter laws, gun control activists are very much in favor of stricter state laws. Some states are using tragedy's such as shooting or school shootings to further justify stricter laws. This is highly agreeable due to the fact guns are used for one purpose, that being to take another persons life. This is seen with states making it harder to obtain a open and conceal carry license, to avoid said tragedy's

However we must take into account that it is a constitutional right to obtain a firearm and carry it. The "Right to bear arms" is something that most states try to limit by forcing laws into affect that limit the use and purchase of guns. The united states was founded on the belief that every person should have the right to protect themselves.

In conclusion Open and Conceal carry does come with a high price. Most states are already adopting extra measures. This greatly affects those that are wanting to own and carry a firearm, that most argue should not happen at all. The United States should not push to be like the foreign countries that have no firearms, instead staying true to itself.

The right to weapons

There is a lot of controversy surrounding the 2nd amendment, specifically the right to bear arms. Politicians should not enact stricter gun law as it is the people unalienable right to bear them. Weapons should not be restricted, guns are not the primary cause of deaths and people should have the freedom to bear them.

When most people think about guns today, they believe that guns should be restricted to the point of not even buying them. Ever since the founding of the United States in 1776, the right to bear arms was crucial in taking down a tyrannical government. Having the right to be able to defend ourselves from people who wish to do us harm, it is a right that cannot be taken away. Andres Cordova, a contribute of the hill gathers information on the situation. Cordova states "On the other side of the discussion, many claim that the Second Amendment must be understood in its original sense and that the right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental individual right." (Cordova, para 7). This shows how our right to bear arms cannot not be infringed upon and is there for a fundamental right.

Another point people make is that guns kill people, this is false as guns are not a inanimate object. For the longest time, people have been the cause of death related to weapons, people control guns in the sense of discharging it. The most recent killings throughout the United States have led to this for example, the florida shooting. A good point that gun control activists make is mental health with guns, this is agreeable as the mentally ill should not handle a gun. At the same time, is it not their right to own and use one? This is why this issue is so controversial and has led to numerous protests and calls for ratifying the constitution.

In conclusion, guns are not something that should be restricted as it is our right to own them. Guns are not the cause of death, people are the ones in control of them. Finally, people should have the freedom to continue to use and buy them.

The Logo of inspiration

The Predators of Social Media

People believe that they are safe on Social Media and have nothing to worry about. Although Social Media is indeed not safe, this is due to predators that lurk around Social Media. Predators are one of the most feared hazards of Social Media, they can gather information just by looking at others accounts, they track and abduct victims based on others posts on Social Media. These people use a wide variety of different methods to abduct victims and this issue remains one of the most hazardous and if not fatal.

Predators are a common hazard on Social Media, with new technology and applications. This has made it easier for predators as they no longer have to use physical means. Most predators use fake accounts to blend with other teens and children. CBS17 did an article on predators in Social Media and states "Predators populate social media pages with pictures of teenagers they are representing as themselves" (CBS17 Para. 8). This causes children to mistaken them for other teens,  effectively allowing predators to get closer to their victims. Predators often build up a relationship with their victim and connect with them.

In most cases this is how abductions occur, predators lure children to a location by "Asking them to meet them somewhere". Predators can tell where their victim will be just by looking at their Social Media posts. More often than not, people post where they are, what they are doing, where they will be the next day and even their personal information. This leads to abductions and it can be fatal, NWFDailyNews tells a shocking story of an abduction that started on Social Media and with it ending fatal, stating "The would-be sixth-grader was missing for five days before her body was found Monday. An Alabama man who is a registered sex offender has been arrested and charged with kidnapping, homicide and disposing of her body" (NWFDailyNews Para. 1). This shows the effect of predators online and what they are indeed capable of.

The many causes are what make predators dangerous, they are able to lurk around undetected and take others. With so many horrible outcomes, it is important to educate others on the subject to make them safer. Predators are everywhere, although it is not easy to spot one at first glance, people must be weary online, being vigilant and safe.

Is Social Media Truly Safe?

When we put something on Social Media is it really gone, are we really safe on social media? Most people do not exercise caution or safety on Social Media thus, people fall victim to predators and information leaks. a question ever been raised when you search through other peoples profiles on Social Media apps? Most people will ask "Why is he posting his location, does he want people to find him or something?" Most people do not realize it when their parents tell them "What you put on the internet, stays on the internet".

But what is Social Media, Social media is defined as websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking. Some of the most common are, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, with the list going on. Most people are not aware of what they post on Social Media and sometimes it can lead to bad outcomes. For example, someone posting their location of a store or where a person is at lets people know where you are. Predators now a days use social media to track their victims. Smart social, a newsletter site explains "According to a recent study from Kids Live Safe, more than 82% of online sex crimes originate from social networking sites that predators use to gain insight into their victim’s habits and likes." (Smart Social Para. 1).

People also need to take into consideration that things they post on Social Media does not go away. Pressing the delete button may give the illusion that the text is gone, but in reality it is still there. Most programs have a type of storage unit that stores data from the persons account, this allows the company to see what you post as well as giving government agency's the ability to pull posts from accounts. Menshealth explains that twitter never deletes your tweets, "Twitter doesn’t comment on what it does when you delete a Tweet, but says that “search engines and other third parties may still retain copies of your public information, like your user profile information and public Tweets, even after you have deleted the information from the Twitter Services or deactivated your account.” (MensHealth Para. 6). As scary as it sounds it is all completely true, that is why many parents and agency's advise people to watch what they post on Social Media.

With this, Social Media is truly a cautious place where anything could happen. As most people do not exercise caution or safety on Social Media, they fall victim to predators and even information leaks. People need to be educated on this, doing this will make Social Media safer and give people better ways to keep themselves safe.

The Price of Collage

The Price of Collage

Collage remains one of the most important educational steps to achieving a higher job, higher pay and even a better lifestyle. Its all true, we as Americans value education, or do we? But, have you ever sat down and said "Jee, how come people in other parts of the world get education free of charge and I am stuck here paying hundreds of dollars?". College tuition costs are one of the main problems for students in the United States. Unlike European and Asian countries learning comes at high price, in a country where learning is valued as number one, education should be free for all to obtain.

What is collage tuition, essentially it is what collages charge you to attend classes within it. Lets say you wanted take a math class, you would pay however much the class costs. This money would mostly go to the collage itself to purchase new equipment and etc, but, why is collage in Europe and Asia free? Abby Jackson of the Business Insider states "Many European countries, like Germany, already offer free college, and they do so for all students regardless of family income level." (Jackson para. 3). So then why does American not give its citizens free education, Abby Jackson further states, "Europe also traditionally has higher taxes than the US, which allows those countries to offer additional social services." (Jackson para. 6). This shows that the US would have a lower tax rate than Europe which means that the government would have less money to allocate, including education.

Low funding of the education system can also play a part which would could explain why prices are so high. The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities state, "Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Oklahoma — enacted income tax rate cuts costing tens or hundreds of millions of dollars each year rather than restore education funding." (Center on Budget and Policy Priorities para. 3). This shows that individual states control the funding of schools causing low funding. How would we fix this, Americans would have to receive higher tax rates with states allocating that money to education. But, are we are ok with sacrificing more of our pay to receive better benefits and make collage free? Although some overlook education, education would need to become a priority as it is in some countries with this we could all enjoy education free of charge.
